Professor, university teacher, civil engineer (Split, Croatia, 07th April 1966). He graduated in field of Civil engineering at the University of Split 1991. At the same university he had earned the PhD (2000), exploring in the field of numerical modeling of the interaction of fluids and structures. He work at the University of Split, where he teaches courses related to engineering structures: Concrete Structures, Bridges, Performing of civil engineering structures, Numerical modeling of concrete structures and House installations. In scientific field his interest areas are: building construction and materials, continuum mechanics and numerical modeling of structures. As author or coauthor he published five books, two book chapters, 24 articles in scientific journals and over 40 scientific papers on international conferences. He has been mentor in over 60 graduate theses and one PhD thesis. He is member of the editorial board of Građevinar (Croatian Journal of Civil Engineers). At the professional level he has a number of built facilities, residential and public buildings, shopping centers, schools, churches, bridges, tunnels, etc. He is also author of 6 professional papers published in journals and 17 professional papers in conference proceedings. He is active in the Croatian Standards Institute, with editing and acceptance of standards in the field of construction.
